ICAN of DuPage County is the local chapter of the International Cesarean Awareness Network in DuPage County, IL (western suburbs of Chicago). We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve maternal-child health by preventing unnecessary cesareans through education, providing support for cesarean recovery, and supporting Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC).

Our group members communicate via email through our Yahoo Group. We encourage anyone interested in cesarean prevention, VBAC support or cesarean healing to join this group.  You will find moms just like yourself who can provide support and resources to help you through this journey.  Anytime you need support, you can send a message to this group and other DuPage County ICAN moms can respond to your message via email.

We also interact as a group on Facebook, via the ICAN of DuPage Facebook page. You can find meeting notices and topics here, as well as RSVP to attend a meeting. We also post interesting and inspirational articles and stories on the newsfeed.
